This beautiful animal is a Cheasapeake Bay Diamond Back Terrapin. Oreo
came to us from an individual that owned him as a pet, but who was
moving and needed to find a home for it.
He frequents our education programs because he is so unique and he
gives us the opportunity to talk about the difference between other
turtles and terrapins.
